Who is she?
I’m Katelyn. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, before my Irish partner and I met halfway between our hometowns and settled in NYC.
I picked up a camera with serious artistic intent when I was 14 and it’s been a beautiful constant in my life ever since. I fell into photography like people fall in love and I’ve never looked back. When I'm not working (and honestly even when I am), I can be found saying hi to every dog I pass on the street.
Some of my event clients include:
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum
Century21 Stores
BlackRock
1800 Tequila
Hudson Whiskey
Flor de Caña
Freeletics
The Stonewall Foundation
Bank Robber Music and more.
We love an inclusive attitude here.

How others describe me:
“As a true-blooded New Yorker (i.e. a mid-westerner that moved to NYC), Katelyn models herself after Aaron Burr from the little known play Hamilton: ‘She wants to be in the room where it happens’ and by room she mean wherever your event takes place.”
“She’ll bring a bright, sharp-witted humor to the memories of your wedding and capture intimate moments from a perspective only she has the eye for. Katelyn’s documentary style of photography emanates an emotionally driven story about you and your loved ones. She has the ability to put your guests at ease, allowing for the most vulnerable and authentic moments.”
“Katelyn Landis is an NYC based photographer who has captured weddings big and small, product launches (as seen on Real Housewives of New York), concerts for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, MMA training sessions and other various events that are held in this eclectic city.”
